ATLANTA – Background Casting Notice
SHOWTIME TV SERIES
–VARIOUS FEATURED *MUSICIAN TYPES* NEEDED–
Pay RATES:
Filming dates $350.00/8 (per member)
(+$20 gas bump for Covington filming locations)
Covid Test & Fitting dates $84.00/day (**NOTE: this rate is contingent on you showing up to work on set and will be paid in installments – $34.00/day guaranteed base rate for initial test/fitting with an additional $50.00/day (for each test/fitting) allowance added to your voucher on your work date. If you do not show up for the filming date, you will not be eligible for and will forfeit the $50/day allowance for any tests/fittings but will still be paid the $34/day guarantee)
Test/Fitting Location: COVINGTON, GA
Filming Location: TBD Atlanta area or Covington
MUSICIAN TYPE #1:
PIANIST – Male Caucasian, age range 30-70, must be proficient at piano playing to recreate a scene from a 1940s inauguration. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)
Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/7, Fitting 9/8, Covid Retest 9/9, Filming 9/11
MUSICIANS TYPE #2:
STRING QUARTET (Viola, Cello, 2 Violins) – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 25-75, must be experienced string musicians and prefer an existing quartet that plays together. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)
Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/10, Fitting 9/11, Covid Retest 9/14, Filming 9/16
MUSICIANS TYPE #3:
JAZZ/SWING BAND or MUSICIANS that play these instruments (2 Trumpet, 2 Sax, Drums, Piano) – Male, African American, age range 20-70, must be experienced individual musicians or an actual group that plays. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)
Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/14, Fitting/Covid Retest 9/15, Filming 9/17
