Wilmington NC Extras,
We’re casting background actors for BOATLIFT 9/11, a short film about the tugboat captains who rescued half a million people. This will air this Sept 11 for the 25th anniversary of this tragic attack. This project is close to the producer’s heart as she lost half her crew that day. We need extras to work March 4, 5, 6, and 7. It is not required to work all 4 days. Please let us know in your email how many days you’re available.
We’re seeking NY PEDESTRIANS, NURSES, EMTs, COAST GUARD, and a few REAL FIREFIGHTERS.
This project is part of a non-profit, so all extras will be Volunteers, though you will receive $100.00 per day cash at the end of each day’s wrap, to cover your expenses. In addition to your $100/day you’ll be provided lunch, craft services, and free parking.
To submit, please follow these directions:
Must be at least 20 years old.
Email us at boatliftextras@gmail.com with the heading of the role in which you are applying (example: “Pedestrian”), a recent photo of yourself, your contact information (email and phone number), and if you have any experience in the specific roles needed such as nurse, emt, etc… Let us know which date you are applying for and that you are available the entire day. Please be sure to put all of this info in your submission email.
Filming days often start early and end late, so you must be available for the full day in order to be considered.
