CDC Extras Casting
Happy Sunday – For UNTITLED MUSICAL I am currently building a file of current, paid-up, SAG-AFTRA members for consideration in upcoming scenes. These are for BACKGROUND roles only.
Seeking people who are local to Richmond, Virginia. No travel, hotel is provided.
PLEASE SUBMIT TO THIS FILE IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN BOOKED ALREADY ON THIS FILM, EVEN IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED IN THE PAST.
This takes place in the 1960s and 70s – we need natural hair. Sadly, no braids or locks. No visible tattoos on face, neck and arms.
NOTE – when submitting for background work – DO NOT SUBMIT if you can not attend a wardrobe fitting. I keep running into people saying they can not attend the fitting. EVERYONE must be fit in advance and I’m casting scenes in sequence. DO NOT submit to the scenes below if you CAN NOT attend the fitting.
NOTE – NEVER EVER submit photos wearing sunglasses or a hat or hair that is not currently the look on your head right now. We assume you have the hair length in the photo you send us. It’s not helpful when you show up with fire engine red hair or braids.
Also, I have people asking for dates. Unless the dates are specified, we don’t have exact dates. We will ask you when we reach out for you to do a fitting.

Please email TWO (2) Photos and LABEL THE FILES OF YOUR PICTURES with your first and last name as a “close-up” and “full body.” Example: Chad Darnell Headshot. Chad Darnell Full Body. YOUR PHOTOS MUST BE IN THE SAME EMAIL AS YOUR INFORMATION. DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE EMAILS.
When submitting, understand we will never have the report time until the day before. You will be expected to shoot “all day.” All day means all day. Very early report time, shooting 12-16 hours. You can not leave during the day. We need you available for the entire day.
