“For The Love Of Pete” (comedy, student short), Director Brian Hutchins.
Logline: Everyman slacker Pete re-examines his life after a chance meeting with a charismatic cultist.
I’m currently looking to cast actors for an upcoming student film that will be in production around Greensboro in March 2022. Payment is in the form of providing footage for reel.
Pete: A mid 20s slacker who gets arrested for a crime he didn’t intentionally commit.
Chad: 30-50, a deranged cult leader that Pete meets in jail.
Brooke: Mid 20s, Pete’s ex.
Deputy Dennis: 30-50, Pete’s arresting officer
Isabel: 30ish, Chad’s ex.
John: Age open, Brooke’s current boyfriend.
Waiter: Teen to 20s.
And several extras for the third act.
