Casting Call for Short Psychological Thriller Film in Raleigh, NC,
Multiple Roles Available
The film “Group Therapy” is a short thriller picture that showcases multiple characters participating in a group therapy session, sharing the details of their heinous crimes to their peers. The setting takes place inside a psychiatric institution.
We are looking for performers who can truly become a dynamic character. We are seeking performers who are coach-able, reliable, and can work well with others. The specifics for each available role are listed below. To be considered, please send a complete resume, headshot, and an acting reel that showcases your range as a performer (optional).
Role of Linda Dunbar – Wife of lead character. Caucasian, female. Between the ages of 40-50. Any size.
Role of Leah Thompson – Mistress of secondary character. Any race, female. Between the ages of 18-25. Must be okay with partial nudity. Nothing more than undergarments being shown.
Role of Kimberly Hughes – Daughter of lead character. Involved in big reveal ending. Caucasian, female. Between the ages of 25-30.
Roles of Chelsea Hughes – Granddaughter of lead character. Involved in big reveal ending. Caucasian, female. Between the ages of 4-7.
Roles are non-paid. Travel is not paid. Food and beverage provided on-set. There will be a handful of rehearsals and table-readings. Shooting expected in early to mid May.
