LOG LINE: Alongside her mother and baby brother, a young hispanic girl struggles to find refuge in Mexico and hopes to soon be reunited with her father, who left to find work in America.

[ NATALIE]
8 to 12 YO, hispanic, female. Natalie is a young refugee surviving with her mother and baby brother in Mexico. She is friendly and positive despite her family’s situation and dreams of reuniting with her father after he left to find work in America.

[JUAN]
9-12 YO, hispanic, male. Juan is a displaced boy living in the same trailer park that Natalie’s family lives in. A fan of comics, Juan is enamored with superheroes and sports. He’s a very outspoken boy with a soft heart.

[ SOFÍA]
Late 20s to mid 30s, hispanic, female. Sofia is a mother of two who was left to raise Natalie and her baby brother in Mexico after her husband left to find work in America. She is loving and protective of her kids and works hard to try and make a better life for them.

[ NICOLAS]
30s, hispanic, male. A loving father that is forced to go to America to find work. Separated from his family, he leaves Natalie with the hope that he’s always watching her and that they’ll find a better life together.

[TYRONE]
30s-50s, african american, male. A coyote that helps displaced refugees find a new life in America.

[ LUIS]
30s, hispanic, male. A volunteer teacher within the trailer park community Natalie and Juan live in. He’s making the best out of a bad situation for the struggling community.

[ BABY BROTHER]
1 YO, hispanic, male. An infant growing up in a refugee trailer park. He’s taken care of by his mother Sofia and older sister, Natalie.
