Is making a short film for a television idea that we will be pitching later this year.
(short synopsis)
The year is 1965, when a young 14 year old boy is cleaning up at a local diner. The owner asks the boy to stay and lock up for the night once he finishes. Joseph plays some songs on the jukebox while he cleans up the place that is until someone shows up unannounced.
CASTING CALL FOR
A young 12-15 year old African American teen for the Main Character.
(Description of the character Aka Joseph).
Joseph is a young 14 year old kid. Who is trying to help out his family by working more at the diner while also trying to balance out his school life. Joseph is a calm and collective character until he gets put in very tense scenarios where he is helpless, scared and sometimes brave. (You must be able to perform these emotions physically).
We are also looking for an older man to play Mr. Whittaker the owner of the diner (Any age above 20).
