FOR PROOF OF CONCEPT SHORT FOR CIVIL WAR FEATURE FILM

Casting breakdown for Gladio Veritas Entertaiment’s upcoming proof of concept shoot for the Civil War-era feature film “The Fountain by the River.” Please submit headshot, resume and reel to GladioVeritasEnt@gmail.com. These roles are unpaid at this time, but do have the potential to be recurring when production begins on the full feature.

Character Breakdowns:

OLD GEORGE GOODWIN: 75, caucasian, thin, but looks great for his age, despite carrying with him the memories of the terrible war.

CONFEDERATE PRIVATE HENRY MARLOWE: caucasian, mid-20s, of Irish descent. Red-haired, thin, handsome, but rugged from the conflict. Has a strong sense of duty, and faith in God. Also has a good singing voice.

UNION SERGEANT VANSTORY: caucasian, mid-20s, ruggedly handsome, but also tired from years of war. His faith keeps him grounded, whether on the battlefield, or on picket duty.

RUGGED UNION PRIVATE: Early-40s, dark haired, disheveled, and prickly.

CONFEDERATE REVEREND JACOBS: Mid-40s, tall, thin, but has a strong spiritual essence, and caring mind.
