The following are short character descriptions as given by the writer and director of this short film.
Characters:
Florence (Lead): Female, 60+
Still grieving over her husband, Florence goes about her days with kindness and drive. She is not crippled by her loneliness, and finds strength in herself and those around her. Our film will be a vignette of Florence, with minimal dialogue, so advanced actresses are a must.
Jacob (Supporting): Male, 12 – 16
14-year-old Jacob is quiet, pensive in a way that most boys his age are not. There is a thoughtful sincerity to him. He is not a character of words, but a character of action.
