Casting for the following roles:
MAIN ROLE:
Damien Jones: known as DJ the basketball star. Age 18, he’s the star of his high school basketball team and is driven by the goal of succeeding when everyone else around him has failed.
SUPPORTING ROLE:
Patricia Simpson: (African American female) Mid to late 30’s. The mother of the Donna Simpson.
Frank: (Any ethnicity) mid to late 40’s Patrica’s husband, Donna’s stepfather. A drunk and lazy perverted man.
Track Coach: Any ethnicity, female age range 30-50
Basketball Coach: African American male age range mid 30’s to 50’s
Ms Jones: Damien’s mother mid 40’s
Nurse: (Extra/speaking role) any ethnicity/age
Track girl (extra/speaking role) any ethnicity/age
Basketball player 1,2 & 3: (extras/speaking roles) any ethnicity/age
Also casting for extras to be apart of the track team (females) and basketball team (males) Looking for extras to be in the background as well for track and basketball scene as well as the clinic scene.
