WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Texas Pete hot sauce commercial is planned to be filmed in Winston-Salem and organizers said they’re looking for actors.

An open casting call is scheduled for Thursday at Altair Casting at 703 Coliseum Plaza Court in Winston-Salem.

Organizers said children should come between 12 and 3 p.m. and adults from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Officials said they are looking for “real North Carolinians” and no prior acting experience is necessary.

They said they’re looking for two kids, between 8 and 15 years old, who look like siblings. They must be active and be able to ride a bicycle.

Organizers said participants will be paid for their roles. They said there is a need for a large number of people.

Casting officials said the commercial is planned to be shot the week of July 22 and participants must be available to work 12-hour days.

Participants are asked to bring a current photo and should be available for callbacks on Saturday with the director.

An open casting call is generally an audition that anyone can turn up to.

    WOW !

This sounds like a lot of FUN !! I wonder how many 12 hour days they’re anticipating. Both Charlie and I have time off to take, but I wouldn’t want to take TOO MUCH.
I suppose they’ll have more info at the OPEN CALL.

I’ve worked with the ALTAIR Casting people before. SUPER nice !

    THANKS for posting !!
